Adult Learner’s Week 2015/16

To be nominated in this city wide award is a brilliant achievement.

We applaud all of them, with everyone receiving recognition from the city of Sheffield.

Learner’s Celebration Event July 2016

We were honoured to have The Lord Mayor of Sheffield, Councillor Denise Fox, attend our Learner Celebration Event, congratulate learners on their hard work and present them with their certificates.

The day was a great success!

This event formed part of a project organised and undertaken by learners on our study programme.

Well done to all our learners

Adult Learner Week 2015

What another fantastic year of achievement for MaTReC and learners!! MaTReC staff nominated learners who have undertaken learning during 14/15. These learners have overcome personal barriers and made choices to re-enter learning or progress to other subjects and levels. With support from tutors and staff they have increased their skills and also grown in confidence. Their personal achievements are the real successes and everyone at MaTReC wishes them every success for the future and hope they will continue learning and reaping the benefits.

Two of MaTReC’s nominated learners (Kevan Brown and Trevor Wright) won joint first with another learner (Kimiko Chapman) winning second place. Other learners were nominated, which is a brilliant achievement in its own right and many congratulations go to them. All the nominees should be proud of themselves, and although not everyone can win, we applaud all of them, with everyone receiving recognition from the city of Sheffield.

Congratulations to you all, you deserve it!!
